The Wife Synopsis and Plot Summary

It depicts the true nature of love and desire surrounding the woman. It is a tragic portrayal of a woman who is thrown into a hell that is even more horrific as she tries to keep her secrets to protect her own life and atonement. The story is written by Jeong Ryeoju, the writer who was the winner of the KBS miniseries script contest last year.

Eun-ipsae, whom Uhm Jung-hwa received, has an ideal job as a student who earned an excellent score in the college entrance exam, was accepted to Seoul National University as the best student, and she is also a mother of a child. She is a person of an exquisite appearance and self-esteem that rivals an exquisitely polished diamond.

There’s a secret in her past that is admired by everyone and she is haunted by the secrets she hid from in order to keep it hidden. Uhm Jung-hwa has shown her acting abilities and character digestion abilities by performing in “Wife,” “The Man Who Can’t Get Married,” “The Witch’s Romance,” “Our Blues,” and “Doctor Cha Jung-sook,” which aired during the first part of the year which was ranked 4th in viewership ratings for JTBC dramas.
