Sad Tropical Synopsis and Plot Summary

This is a story of the children of the serial killer organization ‘Sad Tropics’ who are raised by ‘Master’, the ruler of the rainforest and they, in turn, start suspecting each other and swear blood revenge after an incident that is extremely disturbing to them. It is the new film created by Park Hoon-jung, director of ‘New World’, ‘The Witch’ series, and ‘Night in Paradise’.

Kim Myung-min who is a representative actor of South Korea has yet another life character with his acting skills that just make the audience swallow everything he does and this time he is going to show his charismatic character as ‘Sabu’, a Southeast Asian minority who happens to be the dictator and is also educating orphans so that they become killers.

Lee Shin-young, who became known for her part in ‘Crash Landing on You’ and starred in the successful film debut ‘Rebound’, is cast as ‘Lu’, a child abandoned in the jungle. ‘Lu’ a character who was born deaf but survived as the youngest of ‘Sad Tropics’. Park Yoo-rim, who delivered an outstanding performance in ‘Drive My Car’, was cast as ‘JoJo’, who entered the jungle on her own following ‘Master’.
