Ryu Yong Jae Plot

He is South Korean screenwriter and Ryu Yong-jae explained why the drama was created by him with the subject matter that is unique negotiations. On the 25th of May, a conference on the production for the upcoming tvN Monday-Tuesday drama “The Piper” was held on The Amoris Hall in Times Square, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

The writer Ryu Yong-jae opened the book with the words, “It’s a fresh topic, but there haven’t been any works on it before, so I’ve been interested in it for a long time,” and “I looked up the job title ‘negotiator’ in our country and found Professor Lee Jong-hwa.”

He added, “I had previously attended a lecture on the subject, so I received two weeks of training and researched materials while attending the police academy to train detectives on negotiation skills.” He continued, “There were many interesting cases and situations, so it was helpful in writing the script.”

The author Ryu stated “Negotiations are something that has not yet been reported in our country’s news, but they happen frequently and will be talked about a lot in the future.” He also said “It was interesting that various groups, including the hostage takers, police, and media, gathered at the scene and resolved the tense situation through dialogue.”
