Park Noo Ri Plot

Park Noo Ri is a South Korean female director. Park Noo-ri, who been through 15 years of her career, began her career as the youngest member of the team producing short films and was an assistant director and scriptwriter before present the film ‘Money’ where she wrote the screenplay and also directed.

The debut film “Money” also attracted plenty of attention since it marked first time that an assistant director had previously worked alongside director Ryoo Seung-wan on the films ‘Unfair Trade’ (2010) and ‘Berlin’ (2013), but it took quite a while before seeing the daylight of the day.

After the film was shot at the end of summer 2017, it took more than one year for the film to finally be made available. Instead of becoming impatient the director Park concentrated on enhancing the film’s efficiency.

The product of this “hardship’ is the film “Money”. Director Park who was the one to read the original script and directed the adaptation, would commute to a café in Yeouido’s financial district for the duration of a year to research and analyze the market. The thing he encountered the most trouble with when filming the film was stock prices.

His goal was to eliminate as much stock market information he’d gotten in the film as much as possible, and instead focus on the character’s psychological and the process of growth. This film tells a story about money, about a novice stockbroker who moves into the Yeouido financial district, the place where the largest amount of money is moved within South Korea, in hopes of achieving wealth.
