Kim Hee Jung Synopsis

Her birthplace was Seoul, Korea. After graduation from the Seoul Institute of the Arts and then enrolled at the Lodz Film School and directed short films such as Portrait of The Father 1999, The Appointment 2000, Once. The film was shown in The Chicago IFF, Krakow FMF.

Her debut film Girl Thirteen 2007 led her to be awarded the prestigious New Director Prize at Seoul IFF. Additionally, Snow Paths 2015 was earlier presented at Jeonju IFF. She is currently teaching at Chosun’s Creative Writing Department of Chosun University.
