Ham Eun Jung is a South Korean idol singer, dancer, rapper, and actress.
Ham began taekwondo training in seventh grade. She continued to win three tournaments.
Following her graduation from high school the year 2007, she’s mother made the decision to retire from piano lessons and focus on Ham’s professional career.
Ham was accepted for Dongguk University later that year in which she studied performance.
She gained fame due to her position as a member of K-pop’s girl group T-ara She was the leader of T-ara until September of 2010.
May 7 the 7th of May, 2015, she released her debut solo as Elsie by releasing her debut EP I’m Good.
Ham was able to announce her resignation from MBK following the expiration of her contract in January of 2018.
Since the 3rd of January, 2018 T-ara took unindefinite hiatus to let the band members explore their individual career. After that, she went to play different roles as an actor.
On May 24 in 2018 it was announced that Ham was the actor for the KBS drama “Lovely Horribly”. On February 26, 2019 the news was made public that Ham was to be the narrator of the co-production between Korea and Vietnam called “The Muse Story.”
On the 15th July 2021 Ham quit Cabin 74 when her contract was due to expire. On September 27 2021, she had signed an exclusive agreement with Management Koo.
The latest T-ara comeback was Friday, November 15th of 2021., the second single, Re:Tara. The album marks their first album after a four years absence.
