Choi Gyu Seok Plot
Choi Gyu Seok, he graduated from Sangmyung University’s Department of Cartoon. The year 1998 was the time he took home the prize of gold in the adult division at the Seoul Cultural Publishers’ New Cartoon Contest by submitting ‘Pine Needles’. He was soon drafted into the military and did not make his debut as an author.
Following his release the story ‘Cola Man’ was chosen as the top prize in the dramatization division in the 2002 Dong-A/LG International Cartoon Festival. On April 1, 2003 the writer made his debut as writer when he published an unpublished short story called ‘Dooly The Dinosaur which is a tribute to Kim Soo-jung’s “Dooly The Little Dinosaur’ The Young Jump magazine, causing quite a stir.
in 2004, his debut book, ‘A Sad Hommage to Dinosaur Dooly’, a collection of short stories, including “Cola Man” and “Dooly the Dinosaur’, published. He also wrote a wrote a series of stories titled the ‘Wetland Ecology report’ on The Kyunghyang Shinmun.
